It dismays me to read some of the posts on here. I have always been a responsible drone pilot. I never fly above 400ft and rarely never more than ~600ft in distance, - (BECAUSE, we are not permitted to go above 400ft...and should have the drone in sight all the time, for obvious reasons.) or...

As long as you keep within the law (which you didn't on this occasion judging by the height you mention) and be a considerate/responsible pilot, then you're not giving them any ammunition. There will always be some who aren't happy. Let them remain unhappy!

Might be a bit windy today! I'm up for meeting, I'm paranoid about the quality of my photos (video seems good though)...I want to meet with another mavics to compare like for like photos!

Nowhere that interesting yet...just local fields. Need to get to grips with it before I try to photograph something more interesting. There's some beautiful countryside up your way.

I'm near Stortford....so not too far...
