Hi, perhaps it is because you are in a populated area, all wifi signals and metal structures affect signal, In my case behind my house I have no signal issues because it is a natural reserve but for example my dad Phantom 3 pro has signal issues while my mavic not.

I always use my iphone, but I do hate to have to put it on airplane mode so I am getting a 7inch tablet from Huawei, gps and LTE chip, hope it works fine. Obviously I will not give the tablet chip number to know one, neither will use it for mail just for my Mavic.
