Thanks, my usage is shooting magazine covers, so I need the best resolution possible. I upgraded from the Mavic Air 2 a while back, and the difference was amazing. Never going back. I misread the size of the Mini 4 Pro sensor. I thought someone said it was a 4/3 like the Mavic 3, hence the...
Has anyone done a head-to-head competition between these two 4/3 camera sensors? I'm guessing the Mavic 3 would win because of greater weight making it more stable in a breeze than the Mini. But I am wondering if anyone has actually tested them both. The higher pixel count on the Mini 4 Pro...
I use the paid UAV Forecast app for weekly planning the dates I'll go out and shoot. I like that I can see cloud cover for an entire seven days and decide when I want to head out. It's right more often than it's wrong and better than Weather.com.
Maybe this has been there a while, but I never noticed it before. A frame guide for various photo ratios. The 3:4 frame would be ideal as I shoot a lot of magazine covers and that's very close to the ratio of an 8.5x11" magazine cover. However, when I select it, (or any of the others) I don't...
Thanks @dougga, but my problem is that the controller tells me I'm out of room and it won't store anymore. My last two or three flights don't show up. The controller shows I have 2.17 GB of storage available, and my SD card has more than 55GB free. Any idea of how to clear out the old ones?
When that message appeared, it suddenly shocked me to realize that a:) I have no idea where they are stored, b) no idea how to clean them out, and more importantly, c)I'm used to them being uploaded automatically from my former phone or tablet to Air Data and I've no idea how that works with the...
Hopefully, that's what happened. I've used dozen of SanDisk cards over the years, and they are my go-to brand. I never format cards except on first use, and I can't say I've ever lost a file in 15 years. I merely delete the files on my computer after backing them up, and put in back in the...
Another possibility is that the DNGs never existed in the first place. If you switch to zoom, it only shoots JPEGS, no matter how you set it originally. Just a thought.
