    Line of Sight - Really?

Eventually, drone vehicles (autonomous vehicles) will rule the world, as it is argued that they are much safer than human piloted vehicles. This could also be said of our UAVs. In fact, if you program in an autonomous flight, it is probably much more likely to be executed than if you tried to...

    ANTIDRONE BY KASPERSKY

These things would be totally ineffective with a drone "swarm". Do they think they can outgun a determined opponent? These people either "know" or have no clue.

    ANTIDRONE BY KASPERSKY

So you can't fly drones around the Kremlin! Big deal! Been there and seen the signs. :)

I’m so sick of these PROHIBITED signs everywhere I go in Los Angeles

ALL of my friends have moved out of California.

    Help interpret flight record

Looks like the equipment he added was a "van". Putting a small piece of metal on a Mavic can have bad effects and powering up over buried re-bar will have devastating effects on occasion. Enveloping a Mavic with a metal van can have nothing but bad effects. He added a van :)

    Reactions to drones in public

Just last night on FOX News, Tucker Carlson ran a story on drones. The upshot of the whole thing is that DJI is using our UAVs to spy on America and the West. Crops are being surveilled and those guys flying drones over the nuclear power plants are being targeted for Chinese surveillance...

ILLEGAL TO FLY DRONES IN CANADA UNLESS...

Ontario Chief Coroner's report on winter sports states that there were 45 deaths between 1991 and 2012. No testing of skiers/snowboarders by government has ever taken place. Hmmm!!!! I understand the DOT minister wanting to maximize safety of the air, but it will continue to be an issue of...

Oh boy... we are all flying spy drones! DHS warns of 'strong concerns'

We Canadians love our canola crops and we better protect those crops from those China, spying eyes.? Maybe it's all about Futures manipulation. Could be a way for the Chinese to dominate the world economy by another method. Someone said in essence that we should be willing to pay to have the...

PINK BALLOONS - WHAT COULD GO WRONG?

Sometimes helium is recovered from production of natural gas. Now that AOC is banning hydrocarbons ... no more jets, no more cell phones, no more MP2s and no more helium balloons ... Hmmm! We don't need the FAA and Transport Canada any more then either. Wow! That was easy!

New Rules for Hobby Drone Operators from FAA

I'm afraid we're going to get nailed even worse than before. It's clear that UAV flyers are like the plague. Stamp us out. As I've said before, you hardly ever see ANY UAV flying anywhere even now. Alcohol kills thousands of people here in Canada every year, and no one is killing that...

NBC News - Drone “threat” -- *Media Hype*

Rick raises some very good points. The public perception of the authorities not being prepared is not new. I have said for many years that it would be extremely easy to mount a terrorist attack on just about any facility, given you have even a cursory knowledge of radio controlled devices...

NBC News - Drone “threat” -- *Media Hype*

I'm wondering where the reports of UAV activity came from in the Bay area. Pilot reports or other sources? How reliable are those?

How serious is a high speed wind warning?

Hey. They're like us Canadians and most of the rest of the world using SI units.:)

    Combating Drones

As the Super-bowl runs today, a report yesterday on FOX said that numbers of drones had been spotted and some had been confiscated. Charges pending said the report.
