Yep... There are several good videos on YouTube that will walk you through how to get the best footage from your mp. I shoot in dlog and with a bit of post my I can put it up against my p4p.
That's why I have multiple controllers and drones for that matter. Based on user stories I would not be patient enough for Dji to repair and ship back. Good news is that an extra rc for the mp is relatively cheap.
I actually find the flight time at times to be too long but perhaps that's due to my current Spark obsession. I for sure find my P4P flight times to be TOO long -- I could have gotten by with 2 batteries vs the 1/2 dozen. I'm assuming my new MPP will get 27.5 minutes right?
$79 to repair (Get you back in the air) a 1K toy sounds like a no brainer to me. Motor current errors from what I have seen are not that common. I'd get it repaired and get it back in the air.
When I posted this I did not yet have my P4P or Spark for that matter. I can tell you that the Mavic is no longer small, at least when compared to los with the Spark. With my P4P and MP I find that I'm comfortable flying as far out as I need to get the shot, whereas with the Spark I naturally...
I tend to buy but not sell. mp, then p4p then mppp on order and today my sunrise yellow arrived. I need another rc like a hole in my head but ill be damned if I don't want a solo.
I think it's more than just flight time. For me personally I don't need any additional flight time as the time I get from one battery is plenty and I have six batteries in total. It goes more to if someone does not already have the MP then the MPP is an option and before long will be the only...
For a sunny day and in CA it's just about always sunny I keep a ND16 on the bird at most times. ND32 and ND8 are useful as well at times. If you want to smooth out the footage and are shooting at 30 frames you may want to try a shutter setting at 60 and see if you like the output.
Well I finally know what a crowd is ... having flown my MP I can literally hide away and people walk by me and if they did not see it launch they don't take a second look. Flew my P4P for the first time yesterday and it was a totally different story with all sorts of attention. Now pair that...
