Did my maiden flight yesterday. Very windy and it was rock solid. Only did about 30 feet or so but gave me a feel for the drone. Super easy flyer. I did attempt a manual landing and as i got close to ground level avoidance detection stopped me from going further. Need to do some tutorial...

What we simply need is drone class airspace. Up to 400 feet a.g.l. drones should be permitted.Faa needs to fast track a simple notification app so we can fly safely whilst keeping manned aircraft from harm

I think flying accrossed the border is frowned upon :) however i should move to Canada where i can actually fly this thing

The problem i have is the hover app doesnt show all the grass stripps and heli ports that b4ufly does. But it seems the most sensible app

Just recieved my Mavic today. Previous brief p3 owner. Looking forward to nicer weather and maybe some lighthouse footage. Btw live about 1 mile from DTW which is not good.

Great post. Still waiting for my mavic but... Ive used the b4ufly website and it appears there are hundreds of airports in every spot i want to fly. I mean like joe bobs hanger and crap like this. Look im in no way going endanger a pilot but come on. Aside from the obvious major minor...
