    Gretna Green, uk

Gretna's near to at least one active MOD establishment, Longtown. Eastriggs is even closer, but I don't know if that's active now, it was in the early 2000's.

    oxford flying ....but where?

I understand your worries, but there's really no need. The only problem in Oxfordshire to my knowledge is that you have a few military bases - Bicester is the one I know of. That should come up as a restricted zone anyway, as would any airfield. If you want to photograph landscape or villages...

    Is this fogging?

Good idea. I went through the heating procedure (left it over a radiator for a few hours) then bagged and zipped it with silica gel sachets and it seems to be ok now. Over summer I'd not been bagging it before putting it in its case, so I'll go back to that routine now.

fogged screen on Mini 3 pro

That's good - what shop was it by the way? I got mine from LRCE Nottingham branch.

    Is this fogging?

I have. Took the o ring off, cleaned it and reseated it - still fogged up. I'm reluctant to put anything on it in case it has to go back. If you look at the threads on here, and the dji forum, this is a problem that isn't going away.

fogged screen on Mini 3 pro

Let us know how you get on, and how long it takes for it to be returned, I'm in the same boat after it was ok all summer.

    Is this fogging?

Dessicant is kept in the zipped case with the drone, next to the camera. It's quite clear that moisture is getting in somehow in flight, now the temperature/humidity is back to normal. Let's see how you get on in the coming months now there's more moisture in the air

    Is this fogging?

What are you talking about? Who mentioned fog? If you haven't got anything useful to say then don't say anything.

    Is this fogging?

The weathers turned, the hot summers over, and the fogging's back with a vengeance.... Looks like it will have to go back.

Will Drone Shows Replace Firework Displays in the Future?

Plus, as we see every day on the news, bangs tend to accompany death and destruction (even in nature). And then you've got the antisocial use of fireworks, often against the emergency services.

    Is this fogging?

You don't need to take it to bits, you can try what I did and see if that works - I've now flown on a warm sunny day for 10 minutes and it was still ok. But I would inform DJI, as they need to know.

    Is this fogging?

Update after the drone had been in a sealed food bag with 2 then 4 packets of silica gel in a hot conservatory for 2 days plus next to a dehumidifier for 7 hours. Just completed an 18 minute flight out to 1km, back then out again to 1km - no problems, but the day is fairly cool and cloudy...

First impressions after a few weeks.

Rather than use the 48mp setting, try the 12 and upscale using Topaz Gigapixel - you can have a trial before you buy.

    Is this fogging?

I've now left it for 24 hours in the hot conservatory in a sealed food bag with 2 bags of gel. I'll leave it another 24 hours then try it, but someone on the DJI forum did the same and it didn't work, so in the meantime I've contacted DJI and they've agreed it should be returned, but I've told...

    Is this fogging?

Mine isn't cured. Just tested again on this warm sunny day and it was ok until I bought it down to 30m - then fogged instantly. Tried again and same thing happened. Seems to be heat related (as you'd expect with condensation), so it'll have to go back. LCE say they would replace, but they've no...
