Reminded me of my anxiousness with the very first driver's license paper temp and the "real" picture driver's license. Surprisingly, I can still remember that...more than a couple of years...
I have an iPad mini and for me it's the perfect balance of size (portability) and function (bigger screen than a phone). I have used a regular iPad and while it has plenty of visible real estate, it's just too cumbersome to haul around -- i know, first world problem... :)
And with most iPads...
I have some other aftermarket ones for my MA2. I leave a battery in just in case I want to fly quickly...I have not run into any issues with the AC or the props. I just feel more comfortable with the props secure in the hard case I keep the AC in.
Thanks for the kind words. In reading the stream here, I certainly understand the frustration of government intruding in every aspect of life. That will never change. But the reality is this a great hobby and there's no doubt in my little brain the popularity is only going to grow as time goes...
I got my 107 in November...not because I wanted to do commercial drone flying, but because I fear the rules will change in the future and we'll ALL have to be 107 licensed. Now that said, other than the few dollars it took -- I took the 107 course from Pilot Institute -- the cost of the test...
