I think (could be wrong) that those are only under the propeller, and do not cover the sides of the propellers as well. I'd like to see if there is something that will protect from edges that might hit the propellers but not those guards.

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced propeller guard that extends to the side of the propellers as well, not just below? Besides the propeller cage, which is ridiculously expensive. Thanks!

Correct. Tries to focus, can't focus. Gimbal won't move and without starting the motors, no error messages. Said compass error, calibration failed, then said it was fine. Flew with no errors. Lens is scratched, might need to replace. Gimbal will not move side to side or up and down. Ribbon cable...

Hey guys, Was flying my mavic earlier today when the app crashed and it flew back into a tree. I went to check on it and the camera wouldnt focus. Also the gimbal wouldnt move. I saw the camera trying to focus, but it just kept going out of focus. Any advice/help? I just got it back from repair...

How would I make sure that the silver cable is working? It appears to be connected and I don't see any obvious issues, however I also don't see anything burnt on the gimbal board. Any tips on diagnosing myself?

Update: I checked all the connections and they all appear to be good...

I have no video feed and no gimbal movement. The gimbal moves freely when hanging and when I try to move it, but will not move due to the drone.

Update: turns out the ribbon cable has a small wire broken off it upon really close inspection. I don't know if this could be the cause or not...

Awesome thank you! Thunderdrones was very helpful and has suggested the board may be the culprit. Would I still get video if the ribbon was not working but the silver was? I used a ribbon from FSlabs.

I bought a mavic with a non-working camera and am trying to fix it. When I bought it, the ribbon cable (flat) was broken going into the gimbal. So I just replaced that and am still not getting video feed or photos on my galaxy s7. I have tried the cable provided with the remote and a different...

I tried another cable and still didn't see any video... I'm pretty sure I made all the connections but can possibly check again tomorrow

it also says forward obstacle sensing not working Ambient light too weak but that might be because I'm inside.

It says gimbal status: disconnected. Not sure if this could be the board or possibly the metal cable in the gimbal? Also says I need to update but I've just completed the update 2x.
