DJI refuse to honor their warranty on Mavic 2 Zoom less than a month old.

Sorry if this is not helpful, but doing business with communist China, is never going to be conducive to your financial status. Don't waste your money buying stolen US tech.

Mavic FPVLR/Yagi Antenna Mod -Installation Guide and Review!

Well, essentially, that is what I am suggesting. The control antenna(the one on the left) fed to the aerial amp and the Pagoda omni on the other. Can't wait to range test it. Should be epic!

My guess is, if you put 2 of those together, that would be around 60 feet without adapters, it should be fine. Even though the amp company claims it is 2watts, you will be lucky to get 1 watt. I think you are correct, that low loss LMR would be a great way to span great heights, but you can...

Mavic FPVLR/Yagi Antenna Mod -Installation Guide and Review!

Lol, Under no circumstances would you ever use lmr400 to accomplish this task unless, you have already attenuated the signal, by any other means. I said, "If you used LMR lossless cable, you'd fry the amp". So, after you mod the controller with new IPEX, here: This is what I use: COAX...

Mavic FPVLR/Yagi Antenna Mod -Installation Guide and Review!

It all depends on the quality of the coax. You can buy SMA attenuators but they're expensive and I am cheap. Nine meters of lossy cable results in great attenuation in conjunction with numerous adapters. For example, If you used LMR lossless cable, you'd fry the amp, without attenuation of your...

Mavic FPVLR/Yagi Antenna Mod -Installation Guide and Review!

I would love to see a build list with some links of where to get the parts. Everything is available on Amazon except my 16ft steel pole, which was part of a Ham antenna. You want to learn about radios and antennas, get your HAM TICKET ;)

Mavic pro battery & antenna mod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to study radios and amplifiers. Then, you might have some insight. If I transmit a signal at twice the power of another signal, the receiver can receive it from a further distance. The mavic is only a receiver for control but is a transmitter for video. You see?

To my knowledge, the mavic uses 2.4ghz for control and 5.8ghz for video. Please let me know if I am in error.

The 2 solar panels, produce [email protected] in direct sunlight. They also produce a trickle charge with ambient light, for the 5 NIMH batteries which provide the 6v for the 1watt amp for 24/7 continuous operation. I would also suggest you use a 5.8 Pagoda for your video reception which should...

9 meters of cheap Chinese cable and a few adapters, will sufficiently attenuate the signal down to around 50milliwatts or less, required by the amplifier input.

You might try something like this for around 30-50 dollars. A telescoping pole 16-20 feet will work.

Mavic pro battery & antenna mod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ikr? Lol. The main reason I got into the hobby was, I loved modding the antennas and electronics. Sheesh, why can't they just leave us alone, lol?

If an FCC approved radio transmitter or antenna is modified in any way, other than bone stock, standing waves not withstanding, it then violates the FCC rules, and cannot be legally operated in the US.
