Well over the weekend I had it a few feet off the water no problem. Wouldn't want to make a habit of it.

My son bought a supposedly dji factory referb phantom 3 advance. Flown it several times all in ok. Just noticed one offbthe motor coils have black on the copper bits. Is it a burning out motor.

I just let it do itself. I did notice it looks blurry in the distance but others do to. You can see it focusing every time it takes a photo.

I had a go at it today. Took off came back down all by itself and the sent the photos while out on the field. Hangar 360 Photo

I love it i does especially when I'm whizzing it around in sport mode. Yep shipping delays, numpty staff etc, but its a great bit off kit. Love it because its packed away so small and nothing to stare on the boat when we go out.

So what do people think is the ideal height to stop at?

My son has just bought a DJI referb Phantom 3 advanced. It flys well but when hovering it moves around a bit, not a lot but more than the mavic. Is this normal for the Phantom 3. How does it fly compared to the Mavic?
