Mark my words, they will just changes the laws to include something that will also ground this drone. Probably something that keeps prohibits drones less than 250g from flying more than 75 feet away from you or something stupid like that. I swear I recently read some place passing a law limiting...
Yeah, it does. If it was an incident with a building an animal or even the elusive "etc" it wouldn't sting as much as an incident with an aircraft. Hopefully some of the details will come out, like how high this person was flying, how far out where they from the heliport, etc.. (<---- hey, look...
Perhaps allowing flights in certain areas at certain times in national parks would keep drones away from busy cities and people and allow people to get the shots they so desire. Parks could charge for a drone pass which could help pay for the areas. Just a thought.
I never even got a chance to fly mine. I think it's my fault. The government saw how hard I worked to get the Mavic and said, quick pass these laws now before he has time to enjoy his drone. They're always screwing me over, sorry everyone else got caught in the crossfire.
I'm going to hang on...
Remember this map only shows you the restrictions in the air. Parks are usually included in the restricted places on the ground where an aircraft/drone can take off from.
You pretty much can only fly over private property outside of NFZ with permission from owners.
