I can hit the button on the mavic all i want even tho it doesnt beep and still nothing. Ice repeated, still nothing. Ive stood on my head, rubbed my tummy, scoured the net, AND asked the community and apparently still got nothing useful.

Guys, and gals....it doesnt beep. At no point does the mavic emit the annoying hell is about to break loose beep that we all know and love when trying to connect the controller. This is why im asking. Ive followed the directions, ive read the manual. Ive thought outside the box.....none of it works.

and tried a hard connection, clearing caches, clearing data and using the same damned phone i was with the previous drone ... ..NOW any thoughts?

Dji procedure doesnt work. Reset after reset, everything is updated, even tried to connect via wifi, which worked.....via my phone.....momentarily.

Hey. Frustrated beyond belief. Long story short, after receivin my dji care refresh replacement mavic, i not only cant get my RC to connect, but cant login to my account. Help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for pointing out my own mistake! I actually HAD to manually launch being as I wasn't in GPS mode. And before anyone mentions it lol, I know it won't stop at 1.2 metres, that was my own error in explaining the incident. Nevertheless without pilot input it went straight up to the ceiling.

Thanks for the advice. The cables LOOK fine, but I'll take a closer look when I'm home and also give the manual spin a shot.

Atti mode sucks lol. If all it can muster up is atti, I'll just wait until daylight again. When this accident occurred, it was in opti mode.

It's actually QUITE Steady in opti mode as long as there's enough light, The issue however wasn't with a steady hover. Instead of stopping at 1.2 metres on take-off, it went all the way up to the ceiling.

I should actually clarify that it's the loss of signal setting that's put to hover INSTEAD of return to home.
