I have tried the DJI Assistant 2 on two different computers with no luck. As I've been reading allot of people are leaving the units at version 4 and all indications are that it is stable. Is there a direct line to DJI for issues like this?

If you use the a PC get DJI assistant 2. Follow the install instructions and connect the Mavic with a USB cable. When the Mavic connects it will show what firmware. Or, there are three Dots on the phone app in the upper right corner. Touch those then scroll down to about.

Just bought my Mavic. I have a FlameWheel f450 on a Discovery Frame, FlameWheel f550 with gimbal, Yuneec Typhoon H and several pod and booms from 280 to 700. Glad to be hear to learn.
