Sometimes the Main Controller Data Error can be caused by a broken or disconnected IMU. Can you send a screenshot of the sensors menu under Aircraft Settings > Advanced Settings > Sensors. That might help narrow down the issue.

One of my Android phones works best with "transfer file" and the other with "PTP". I'd try both and see which works for you however you can definitely eliminate MIDI and Charging as options. Best of luck!

I usually recommend facing uphill as well. Since the expensive gimbal is up in the front I like to make sure it is going to be better protected. -Kale
