I sure the red dot (sometimes white and blue) is not phone position. It only moves up and down the right side of the screen in all flight records.
Still curious what it is.
I just went to the park and gps on phone seems perfect. I can even see moving one side of street to other in google maps. I wonder if the DJI app has issues although I flew a P4P at same location with zero issues.
I was looking at the flight logs after a failed flight (errors and loss of signal) and saw the errors are recorded but I also see a red dot appear (lower right).
Does anyone know what that red dot represents?
I started getting these compass errors but was able to return ok. By the way this...
The DJI Refresh Mavic has no range. I get 250 - 300 meters away and loose the video signal. I landed it and flew a P4P and flew over a mile with no issue. I’ll be calling them tomorrow but as others have found the QA sucks at DJI.
I spoke too soon...gimbal issue and almost no range. The jerkiness of the gimbal (everything seated correctly) and only 200 yards before getting a strong interference. I remember on the original the gimbal was sticking a bit in the beginning. I put a little graphite powder at the hinges and it...
Well DJI refresh came through. The bottleneck as reported before is the UPS Ground shipping. 6 days to get there and 5 to get it back. They only had it one day to say "yeah it's broke, pay $79 and you'll get another".
Anyone dealt with DJI Refresh when it is a clear case of operator error? They advertise it in a way that implies that accidents are covered. I did recover it from the bottom of the bay and sent it in today. Guess I’ll hear back in week or so.
Operator error - I will post a link to cached video tonight. Basically I was in front of a couple of surfers and pulling back to stay in front. I started to lower the drone and went too low as a wave hit it. I should not have gone that low.
