Update: Spoke with DJI support and they had be try to change the props and do an IMU calibration. No joy. There was an error code and when you started up the drone, one out of four props would not spin up and the others shut down. Then the error displayed. Sorry, do not remember the error or the...
Sorry not to be clear. I first recognized the issue when I started the M2 up at idle. One prop did not start up and the software indicated a motor issue. Then I felt the difference between the three that were spinning and the one that would not spin at all.
It will spin if I force it by hand...
There have been a few Mini 2 threads mentioning stuck motors. Sure enough, I pulled out my Mini 2 this morning and one of the motors will not spin. Feeling the difference between the motors, it's pretty obvious the rear motor on the port side is gummed up. Already tried the compressed air route...
So to sum up...
If you have licenses ON (checked) they will default to ON when you shut down and travel somewhere else
If you arrive somewhere that has no restrictions and try to take off, the app will tell you you are in a restricted zone. No amount of approvals will get you airborne and the...
Has anyone experienced something like this? I was at a client location yesterday afternoon and locked out from flying for 2.5 hours.
Although I was in a DJI Warning Zone, I was not in a Restricted or Authorization zone. Yet, the DJI Fly 4.0 application was constantly informing me I was in a...
I just purchased a slightly used standard controller. For now, I'll just use my iPhone 8+ which is what I was trying to avoid. Now I will have a backup.
Now, I just need to start offsetting at least some of the costs with a few gigs. After I get all of the camera settings straight in my head.
Nope, not yet. I'm somewhat interested in loading Dronebase, but after a long search I'm not seeing anyone who has sideloaded it. The more I look at Dronebase .... I'm thinking they will not be a solid source to get occasional jobs. I'm jumping into this since a couple of previous clients asked...
The obvious choice seemed to be the smart controller and so that's what I did. It's a fine piece of kit, but it does have limitations as to what can be installed.
I was able to get the Google Play store installed and install Dronelink and I think I could install Litchi if needed.
But services...
Is there a way you can try using a different smart device? I suppose there could be an issue with the device or the connection? I would also try deleting the application from the device and reinstall.
Those would be the first steps I would take.
First question. Did you update the firmware? I did not test this a lot, but ran into issues with atti mode popping up after a firmware update. The most recent firmware update solved the issue for me.
Note I can not be certain the firmware caused the issue and then the update solved the issue...
Yup. After shooting video or even a photo, you need a bit of time to pass to allow the SD card to complete processing/saving the file. Then the button on the front - top right - of the controller should allow you to switch.
Also, this button will not work if you are actively recording a video...
Select the "three dot" menu (they call it the Overflow Menu) item on the DJY Fly app screen at the top right.
Along the top, select the Camera tab.
The first option is Format. Change to JPEG or JPEG & RAW as you prefer. It does seem the application remembers the setting you select in the future...
OK, so the regular three battery brick in the Fly More Combos charge batteries one-at-a-time, with the objective to get one up to 100% quicker. This unit will get them all charged at the same time in less time I assume.
