I agree with you. Depending on wind speed and direction, and other obstacles that might block the sound. I can see ( or not hear ) this happening. My guess is the rotor off the helicopter knocked the drone from the sky and the helicopter pilot may not ever seen the drone.
I have to agree, seems most of these so called “ close calls “ are nothing but BS. And the pilots overreacting trying to get attention. Also the fake news media having diarrhea of the mouth !!!
Shoot if they don’t message you. It’s yours. But I wouldn’t turn it in , geez why try and get someone in trouble ? All these peeps wanting the FFA called along with the FBI, CIA, DEA....lol for real
Part of the problem is the media and lots of “ Karen’s “ will do anything to get drone operators in trouble . Going as far as to make £>+{| up. Plenty of other flying vehicles , I guess you could call them, break just as many rules if not more than drone ops. Not sure if it will ever get better
