It would be easier if you went to the DJI website on the Triple and downloaded the fly app directly to it. Launch the downloaded package and it will install. I did this last Sunday and it solved a number of problems I was experiencing.

It didn't go haywire. It was flying in atti mode and you weren't controlling it properly when it had the collision. Flying indoors or in confined spaces is tough.

Yikes! That is some scary stuff there. Any particular reason why you switched over from the original ones?

It looks to me like It's a non flight impact that weakened or cracked it. During flight the speed of the prop started pulling it apart. That could be why it wasn't noticed on the preflight check.

I'd be taking a closer look at that prop guard you're using.
