I've run into this problem in the past and it seemed to self resolve. When the aircraft is some distance from the controller and the camera display is lost due to a weak signal, the camera feed doesn't resume - even when the drone is brought back and much closer to the controller. Since the DJI...
I had a similar incident with my first Mini3pro on its second or third flight. It too became unresponsive and I power cycled the controller a couple of times as it hovered about a metre over clean, clear pavement. That aircraft, and the next didn't remain in my fleet. I'm not sure what was...
It would be easier if you went to the DJI website on the Triple and downloaded the fly app directly to it. Launch the downloaded package and it will install. I did this last Sunday and it solved a number of problems I was experiencing.
It didn't go haywire. It was flying in atti mode and you weren't controlling it properly when it had the collision.
Flying indoors or in confined spaces is tough.
That article is absolute BS. Drone flights in Canada fall under the authority of Federal CARS. Cities can enforce bylaws as to what activities are allowed in public parks (many do ban any kind of remote control/powered devices like drones) but they don't have authority over what you can do on...
I don't think he had refresh - that's why he sent it to Omniviewtech, a local DJI authorized repair facility. I'm curious to know what it cost to have it repaired and hope he posts again.
This just sounds incredibly whiny and perhaps a TWIT (typing while intoxicated tonight) post. Perhaps I missed it but I didn't see where you offered to help in this thread. Don't take it personally if he, or anyone else, doesn't reply to you.
It looks to me like It's a non flight impact that weakened or cracked it. During flight the speed of the prop started pulling it apart. That could be why it wasn't noticed on the preflight check.
