Mate - I love flying so I'm not against you. Like I said - I'd rather fly through the car show fast and watch the video than walk the crowd. I'm assuming that when you said you had all the necessary permissions - that you had the permission of the event organiser to fly the drone over the...
Thanks mate... I actually flew out chasing out a sailboat at sunset and thought, "that is the shot..." until I turned the drone around. As I came back I was able to do a few reveal takes off the ocean as well which turned out great. I believe this was Dixon beach. Newcastle was a fun day trip.
Wow, I would never fly it near my house. I've had several drones and lots of bad experiences. There is just so much bad vibes of flying over people's yards. I would never fly it over kids near my house and never over a playground - I have kids and I can understand their feelings. People need...
All great advice. I fly a lot on the coast here in AUS. I know it won't help if I drop it too deep but I often fly with getterbacks. (Small tube that pops open and lets out a finder attached by fishing line) if you have the DJI warranty you still need to return something to get a new one.

I find most people who talk to me are on the verge of buying a Mavic and are just looking for the thumbs up. Most other people who do chat are curious and have a question they want to answer and I usually just answer politely. Some are simply talkative or somewhat lonely. Most people are...
Hello to all, I'm actually from Hawaii but moved here to Sydney a couple of years ago. I flew a P4 for a while and sold it and bought a Mavic pro. Really enjoying it as it is so light I can keep it in my bag. Half the time I just didn't want to drag out the P4 and all the gear. Also...
I'm in Sydney near glebe if anyone is relatively close and wants to meet up for a Saturday morning flight. I had a phantom 4 for a bit and sold it and got a Mavic. Interested in getting an inspire next. It just trying to decide if I really want to carry it.
