Is this the issue you are talking about? Mavic Radar Red Arrow Error and Fix? It does seem that distance or orientation of the phone to the controller does make a difference.

My 2nd replacement so 3rd Mavic arrives tomorrow. I'll keep you posted on the corner softness. I see there has been a firmware update to .500 whilst my Mavic has been away.

Ahh yes, actually I already knew that, well at least on the video transmission I did. It's amazing what a frustrating misbehaving Mavic does to your mind ;-)

Anybody tried binding the Mavic controller to say a Phantom 3 or 4? The reason I ask is that I'm getting that frustrated with the Mavic blurry edges that I might go back to a Phantom. It's not as portable as the Mavic but a smaller remote would make life a little easier.

Well I've had my Mavic back from DJI, actually they replaced it in it's entirety....... Guess what? The new one has the exact same edge blurring issue.... Man am I getting frustrated ;-(

Anyone noticed that the radar arrow is not always true to the actual Mavic direction? This happens frequently to me, however I've found that if I connect my phone to the USB port intstead of the side Micro USB it works 100% accurate all of the time. It has done this with both .300 and .400...

Mavic Pro Radar red arrow shows different positions depending on phone orientation or cable choice. It seems the external USB Is correct or is it opposite phone orientation?? Any thoughts please??

Anyone know if home lock feature would work in loss of GPS? I've never lost GPS so I don't know if distance from controller to drone is still functional. If it is then maybe home lock could work? I'm guessing you do loose distance function though. Sent from my iPhone using MavicPilots
