The best way I have found is to place the video on the timeline, than slow motion by 50% this will allow you to scan the timeline quickly and be able to see the flashes of Light. Then just Export out the best Frame. Phantomrain.org Gear to fly... -

It is a write speed issue. But the bottleneck is the speed at which the camera can process and write, not the speed a fast SD card can have data written to it. If you shoot jpg + raw, you'll really notice it. Shoot just jpg and it's not much of a...
