Rec pilot here. Just installed your app. Went very smoothly. Could you please describe the ‘need’ or ‘benefits’ of creating an account?
BTW. I do like the ability to simply drop a pin on the map to indicate where you plan to lift off.
Never used Affinity, but it looks promising. Depending on the nature of the adjustments, having the ability to create "Actions" whereby you record the components necessary for the adjustments and run the action and simply tweak them accordingly as the action plays.
If you work with photos even a little bit, at the very least you should have Photoshop for Photographers plan ($9.99/mo). You can layer two images (or more) one above another, lower the transparency of the top photo, rotate/size/set geometry/etc. and save the top layer (after setting...
Very cool shot of the Space Needle. Curious how you were able to achieve that, considering the heavy restrictions on drone flights on private property, over people, inside the city limits, proximity to the Lake Union Air Harbor....
I guess I'd prefer they focus on Chinese Spy Balloons the size of several busses drifting lazily over the U.S. for days on end. Kind of the bigger fish to fry logic. Oops, there's the key word...logic.
@LoudThunder This really should be pinned as a must read for all new pilots. Kudos for your excellent and detailed advice. <blush>Misspelled ‘Thunder’ while awaiting my reply to be ‘approved’ by the higher ups.</blush>
Interesting. Glad you posted @Rchawks. I saw something flash on my iPhone this morning as I was firing it up. I blasted by it and couldn't find anything more on the subject. A quick Google following your post found the image I'd seen earlier. But what actually bothered me was it was not in an...
Planning a visit to the Washington Wine Country and interested in some local knowledge for good scenic flights in and around the Walla Walla / Richland / Prosser / Benton City wine country. We'll be staying in Richland along the Columbia River. We're hoping droning is this part of Washington...
I see you’re in Sweden, so you mileage may vary. I recently worked with a small embroidery shop to create a custom logo which I had applied to an apron. It was a direct embroidery, but could easily have been placed on a patch. The logo image itself doesn’t have to be perfect. Attached is an...
Thank you Brett. Your response was respectful to my original inquiry. I appreciate the background and it makes total sense to me now. I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to explain the nuances of DNG file formats. I suspect now, that the pixel dimensions for the DNG as displayed in...
Non-issue to who. Perhaps it doesn't present an issue to you, but I'm still puzzled by the difference in Exif presented for DJI DNG files compared to DJI JPG file.
I agree, but perhaps you can explain why it provides reasonably well summarized Exif for jpg files? This is the core to my question. Is Windows screwing with the DNG Exif or is there something DJI is tossing in that is confusing Windows?
I appreciate your perspective. But nowhere have I stated I needed to view Exif info properly. When I view jpg exif properties in Windows Explorer, I can see the basics that infer the details I am interested in. On the other hand the dng’s are hosed. It’s really that simple.
Fine. Tell me please, why W.E. shows a reasonable summary of EXIF for the jpeg’s out of the drone, but screws the EXIF for the dng’s. That’s all I’m asking. Is it a DJI thing or a Win thing?
Oh, it gets hosed when viewing in Windows Explorer. But yes, the metadata is intact within the file itself. My issue is why DNG EXIF is clobbered when viewing in the Win Explorer.
If you’re reading this, consider this issue closed….UNCLE.
