I have a simple rule when it comes to update firmware: Don't do it if your drone is flying just fine.
Very often firmware updates introduces new problems you never had, and DJI often adds new restrictions and limitations with new firmware.
And if you for some reason wish to update the firmware...
I have seen so many good landscape videos ruined by the choice of fast-paced stressful music.
But not here. This calm, slow music is perfect for the video. Beautiful sound from that flute. Well done.
Auto ISO will not help - higher ISO decreases the dynamic range.
You need to shoot in RAW (DNG) and develop the images in a RAW converter. DNG-files have a much higher dynamic range than jpg, and you use the full potential of what the sensor is capable of. It may help to underexpose slightly, it...
Many people do not know how a polarizer work, but you obviously do. To get effect from a polarizer you must have the lens pointing at around 90 degrees angle from the sun. For your type of photos where you probably turn the drone all the time to get the best shots, it won't have much effect...
Most modern DJI drones do not use standard 802.11 WiFi, they use a proprietary transmission protocol called Occusync. This is not compatible with what we usually call WiFi.
Yor drone will not show up as a network device on a laptop.
However, your phone/tablet or DJI RC have 802.11 WiFi if you...
The mag interference message comes from the drone, not the RC.
Take the drone and RC outside, and power them on. If the message still appears, calibrate the drone as instructed on the screen. Also check for mag interference in the menu under sensors state. The bar should be green.
You say...
You can download older firmware here:
https://www.dankdronedownloader.com/DDD2/app/index.php?Brand=DJI&model=wa140&ver=01.00.0300
But I don't think you can install it without some hacking , DJI is blocking firmware downgrade.
The battery message you get is to prevent people using third-party...
Yes. I consider the self-discharge function as an emergency function, to save the battery from damage.
There is no point in leaving the battery fully charged even if it discharges (very slowly). You have to charge it before a flight anyway, never fly with a battery that has been stored for more...
There is no problem flying until the battery has 10-15% charge left, it will not harm the battery.
Then charge it to approx 50-60% charge, this is called storage mode. It can be stored for 2-3 months in this state.
The day before you plan to fly again, you can fully charge the battery.
Never...
The Zoom and Pro uses the same controller.
I have two Pro's and one Zoom, and two RC1A and one RC1B controller. They are all interchangeable and compatible. My drones and controllers run the same firmware, and the same version of Go4.
You can open the controller and replace the USB-port...
If it has tha latest firmware .0797, you can downgrade it to .0790 with the DJI assistant. I just did that with no problem.
Then, if you wish, you can use Drone-Hacks to remove DJI's NFZ and altitude restrictions. This will not work with firmware .0797.
Yes, China is a beautiful country and the people are wonderful, but unfortunately your video does not motivate me to visit it again. Like others have said, your editing is fragmented and images change too fast, watching it makes me stressed.
Or maybe I'm just too old....
