There is plenty of gray space, though:
1) I agreed not to fly over people. If I fly over a crowded music festival (without a waiver), that's obviously illegal. If I spend a fraction of a second passing above a couple having a picnic in an otherwise empty public park, is that illegal? If not...
Same here. It makes me feel so sad that such beautiful architecture all around the world is just rotting away because either nobody cares about it or cares but doesn't have the means to do anything about it.
My understanding is that pictures and/or video taken during a purely recreational flight can be later sold or monetized without issues.
And many laws relating to drones are highly subject to interpretation and gray space right now.
What you have to ask yourself, "Is this money from this...
He at least got the BEST of the possible outcomes in that scenario. The battery flying off at least meant the drone wasn't under power when it went under and stopped the electronics from shorting out!!!
I skipped out on videoing a local fireworks event because I was concerned that it wouldn't look very good at night. Now I'm sad because apparently my fears were completely unwarranted. :-(
Every experience I've had shows the car charger is MUCH faster.....assuming your car is putting out sufficient voltage and amperage at the plug.
If the voltage is too low (either by using a limited plug or your vehicle not putting out enough voltage) you either get no charge or only minimal...
Many more cases like this and we'll have fire service aircraft equipped with air-to-air missiles!!!
I'm only half joking.....air defense missiles have been used on drones overseas to SPECTACULAR effect. (Even if it is a huge waste of a million+ dollar missile)
Apple products are supposedly cream of the crop when it comes to graphics/videography, so adding cutting edge camera/video drone technology that runs best on Apple products to the line-up would be a no-brainer.
If anyone had any issues with stodgy golf course owners, just offer them some beautiful shots like this for their marketing in exchange for flying privileges.
Part of all these "privacy" issues can be put on the media. Kind of like what they're doing to police officers and many other "news" events. One person does something stupid and they get national exposure for weeks and months. Whereas millions of people do what they're supposed to all day every...
I don't know how the U.K. does it, but there are states in the USA where the air and/or water on your property are still gov't property. It causes stuff like not being able to catch water off your house to use in your own garden or not being able to erect wind farms because it blocks regular...
This has been my experience as well. I often find myself bringing along a family member or friend when I fly so that they can handle the curious onlookers as I fly.
The only aggression anyone has shown me at all normally starts with "If that thing gets anywhere near me...."
And my thought: "If...
