You should have an extra square insert to put into the controller arm that will fit your cord. You have to use some force to remove the current sliding square first.

It's not 8 or 9 inch, but I'm using the Galaxy S5e and love it. It's 10.5". If you really want some power, get the new S6 which is basically the S5e on steroids. Although I can't say for sure that the S6 will work with the app, I assume it would.

As others have stated, it's almost certainly not new. Much more likely that it's a refurbished one that someone else sent in and they repaired. It's the main reason I didn't have dji fix a broken foot; I wanted my own drone back. So I just ordered the entire arm and fixed it myself.

I though it had something to do with flying through airspace that dji considers worthy of a warning.

It's actually very easy following your video. I completed the arm replacement with no issues. Thanks again. But it's a real shame DJI made the feet so hard to replace without having to replace the whole arm.

Thanks, that'd be helpful, especially tensioning the axis shaft. Although I did realize that there are a few videos about attaching the Mavic Pro front arm, and it seems they're very similar to the Mavic 2.

He was asking about the front arm. Any videos of your guys doing that. I'm in the same boat; have to replace the whole arm just to fix a cracked foot, but tensioning it looks like it might be tricky. I can't find a single youtube video showing front arm removal on a Mavic 2.

There's "Assistant 2" and then there's "Assistant 2 for Mavic". Only Assistant 2 for Mavic works to calibrate the Mavic 2 drones. Maybe you downloaded the correct version for PC, but were trying to use the wrong version on the Mac.

Early on, one of my favorite ways to gain confidence was to fly the drone close, but to turn around and face away from the drone so that I had to rely only on the data provided by the phone or tablet. Using a large tablet instead of a phone was also a huge help.
