You are so kind to respond. Thank you. I will have a car and will check out as many spots as I'm able. I've completed UAS training and certification. I'm not sure which IAA category they place Mavic 2 Pro as it's specifications are slightly over the 900gram mark. I'm sure if I stay away...
I'm visiting Cobh for a week in mid August 2022 and would like some advice. What registrations/legal approvals do I need (I'm in Canada) and what are the best places to fly a drone near Cobh/Cork county.
Hi Syed - I visit London at least once a year and I haven't found a place, as yet. the Mavic Pilots did give me a list of places near/in Cottswolds. So, if you are successful finding a place, I would be interested to know as well. Sorry I can't help
I landed my Mavic near a beach once and it picked up sand in the motors. I had to carefully remove the motor and blow out the sand. The operation went smoothly but it had a similar kind of sound that you describe. and only one one motor
Thank you Mark. Good advice. I was wondering if you use Mavic 2 Pro options such as 'Point of Interest' to circle the residence or property? Do you fly a certain height for PoI? How do you keep yourself out of the photo? Do you try to speed up the playback when preparing output for the...
I've been asked by lots of friends and neighbours to take still aerial photos of their property. No problem. But lately, I've been asked to take videos and combined with a Davinci Resolve learning curve, my resulting videos leave much to be desired. Typically, I hover before changing...
To anyone out there who is computer savvy ....could use your input into computer upgrade. To get Davinci Resolve to work, it appears I need a GPU upgrade. I'm currently running GEFORCE 760 with 2GB. It doesn't support studio version of s/w - only gaming. According to developers of...
All the comments about Resolve are great, EXCEPT, I cannot get it to run on my Windows/10 computer. The GPU GTX760 appears to be dated. Despite constant GPU errors, I went so far as to create my first rough cut of my .mp4 video output but when I tried to refine it, I ran into more GPU...
Wow - I started a maelstorm but I really do appreciate the feedback. I've been using Davinci Resolve now for 1 day and it's working fine. But I have 2 problems and I'm wondering if you fellows could direct me to a youtube or user manual.
Problem 1 is what's keeping me from doing any work...
I'm a good photographer with a camera but not very good at Mavic 2 Pro video shots. Friends are asking me to shoot residential videos and I need simple editing software to cut out jerkiness (when I pan the wrong way and have to pan back). Anybody have a recommended software that runs on a PC?
