4K Video Editing with the HP Spectre (Kaby Lake)

Hi fellow pilots,

Before I purchased the Mavic, I had the 2016 HP Spectre x360 (Kaby Lake 16GB RAM 1080p). I haven't started toying with editing 4K video yet and I was hoping some of you may have some experience or thoughts on what I can expect.

As I'm new to the video editing game, I'm going to start with DaVinci Resolve 12 first and maybe when I have some time under my belt, spring for the Adobe CC bundle.

Shouldn't have any problems with that PC! Watch some tutorials to get you started. Just started playing with color grading, good thing to learn. It mostly just takes time; time to learn the program, time to get good Mavic footage, time to edit it down to something enjoyable for others to watch. I like to keep the footage smooth and slow, and the edited clips short and clean! Watching footage from a drone flying straight for 30 seconds can get boring quick!
