Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. All of the above answers are correct. The two numbers you see next to an obstruction are the MSL and AGL altitudes. The top number is the MSL, which is what aircraft are more interested in, and the number in the parenthesis is the AGL. Also if the obstruction is taller than 1,000ft AGL it will have a different type symbol. There's a lot of information on those charts and it can be very overwhelming and confusing. Once you have the basics down then it starts to make sense. It's the same reading METAR's. Once you know what the information is it's almost second nature after that.
 
It’s on a computer, and you aren’t even allowed to bring your own *pencils*, let alone notes.
Just wondering why they prohibit you from bringing your own pencils. Do they think it'll write all the answers for you?:)
