Strymonas is a river in the Balkan Peninsula with a total length of 392 km, of which 274 are in Bulgarian territory and 118 in Elliniko. In the Greek territory, the river flows exclusively in the territory of the prefecture of Serres and together with Aggitis which is its main Greek tributary, belong to the hydrographic basin of eastern Macedonia Greece.
