The 2023 Eulachon season is here on the Mighty Skeena river in beautiful British Columbia

Nicely flown, shot, and edited video. Fascinating subject. Looks like a community event.

I had to look up Eulachon. Also called Candlefish, anadromous species (like salmon, live in the oceans and spawn in fresh water,) traditional indigenous people's food source, also rendered for oil and traded with people in the interior, spawning runs aren't always predictable.

The clip of the gulls on the bar at about 2:40 elicited a "Wow" from me and an "Oooh" from Linda. She thought the music was very good.

Its a spawning period for the fish. So many fish in the water you can just use a dip net
