Which smartphone do you suggest (or do not suggest) to use with the Mavic Pro? The phone would ONLY be used for the drone, nothing else (will have no SIM card). Primary usage: international travel, remote locations (need large battery). If there is a better model, please tell me.

ASUS ZenFone 4 Max ZC554KL
1280 x 720
5.5"
181 g
5000 mAh

Moto E Plus (4th Gen.) XT1775
1280 x 720
5.5"
181 g
5000 mAh

LG X charge US601
1280 x 720
5.5"
164 g
4500 mAh

Lenovo Phab 2
1280 x 720
6.4"
225 g
4050 mAh

thank you.
the problem with that list is none of the listed devices have large batteries.

Any of those will outlast 6 Pico batteries. I can exhaust all 4 of my Pico batteries and not make a dent in my iPad Mini 4 battery life.

If it's a dedicated device go for 1) screen real estate and 2) memory. The biggest screen you can carry is going to be the one you are happiest with. Make sure it's compatible. There are two types of compatible - the kind on the list and the kind where people have figured out how to make a device work with GO 4. If you do a search on the forum for each of the phones in your list you'll get a good idea of whether it'll work right out of the box or whether you'll have to tweak it a bit to get it too work.

Of the phones that you mention I'd be wary of the Asus Zenfone. I tried a Zenfone 3 Max and while it could (just) cope with Go4, the amount of Asus bloatware made it a pita.
The Lenovo Phab 2 with a MT 1.3Ghz cpu might struggle, the Phab 2 Pro with a 1.8Ghz QC CPU could be better. I've used a Lenovo Vibe P2 with a 5,100mah battery and a 2Ghz CPU, and it's excellent. With a SIM card and light use I get 4-5 days battery endurance.
Specs: Lenovo P2 - Full phone specifications
