Yes. Whilst looking through this forum I realised that there is a requirement to register. I worked out that the m2z was a c3 so I have registered and passed the online exam so have an operation license. I hope that is correct

you will be able to fly it as a legacy drone for 2 years from the first of Jan 2021 till 31 Dec 2022 then it will become restricted to the A3 subcategory you will be able to fly it for those two years in the A2 subcategory if you have your A2 Cof C its called the transitional period,
there are no C rated drones available yet and when they come into being then you will need to have your A2 Cof C if you wish to be able to fly a C2 rated aircraft in the A2 category with the reduced separation distances that will be afforded you in this subcategory

Here is one suggestion, to check out Mavic Help and Mavic tips.
Its a over view at your finger tips, on subjects such as some of the main causes of lost drones. One of 75 causes is flying off downwind in a wind that is too strong for the drone to RTH against it. Other tips as well, preflight check list, safety tips. Please check it out, it will save you grief in the long run.
