Has anyone found a way or an "external module" that permits the video stream of the googles to be transferred to the external world? Like a analog video stream or a digital stream that could be converted using an Arduino Pie? I think that since the googles are now a year old, some electrical engineer would have reverse engineered the signal stream going to the two LCD panels and produce an analog stream that could be recorded to sd card or re-transmitted to other VR googles (for your friends to view).
Any hints as to where to look for this information would be appreciated.
