Thanks Uncle Bob for sharing your useful waypoint video. I have a few questions:
1. When you set your global speed it showed as Imperial units. For my M3 I have it globally set to Imperial, but in Waypoints it shows the speed as metric. Did you do anything special to have it show as Imperial units!
2. You set the digital zoom at your Miller’s point waypoint and again at the log farm, but you had an intermediate WP between them, so it zoomed out as it flew from the Miller’s Cross to the intermediate WP and then zoomed back in as it approached the pig farm. If you hadn’t set an intermediate waypoint would it have stayed zoomed in between this WPS?
3. Can one use the 7x zoom as part of Waypoints or only digital zoom?
4. Is there a reason you didn’t set a POI for the Miller’s Cross or the Pig Farm? It would seem that would have kept those centered more easily?
5. Could you have set the speed to fly home higher than the global speed?
Thanks in advance for any feedback on my questions.
51 Drones does a great job with his tutorials, but it didn’t answer my question about why Waypoints for me shows as metric while I am set for Imperial for every other function.
