What image editing software do people use?

I am a fan of DxO over LR however DxO does not support the Air’s DNG files yet.

What other options are there that would allow me to avoid Adobe?

Affinity Photo. Highly regarded for a low price.
Does also panorama editing and RAW development.

What other options are there

Try to change the EXIF camera type to one that C1 supports (i.e. Mavic Pro) and import then.

i use luminar, its a superb editing software, wayyyyy more full featured than light room which i use as well, my work flow is as such,,,,,,, import the pano files to light room, merge all to one large dng raw file then export as a tiff file to luminar then edit then export as tiff again to noisless for the final touch then export to jpeg to view, its time consuming but worth the effort
