Hi.

Can someone please explain to me how the hyper lapses works.

I’m thinking, if I setup a hyperlapse and fly it today, go away and try the same one tonight, from a slightly different takeoff position - will I get the same video both times. Ie. does the drone store the GOS position of each waypoint, or does it fly the same route (distance/direction etc).

Also, is there anyway to store numerous hyperlapses or is there only one can be live at a time?

I have dronelink but don’t think that will easily do a hyperlapse?

Hyperlapse is a video made from a series of still images.
Don’t confuse hyperlapse and a programmed mission.
Answer to your second question... perspective will change if the drone is in a different position.
The DJI software will generate the hyperlapse as soon as your prescribed number of stills is done... allow time on the drones battery. With my M2P on a good day I can get a 450-500 image hyperlapse.... but only have 10-15% battery left.

If you set up a Waypoint Hyperlapse and save it to the mission library you can run and re-run it at different times of the day and different conditions. That way you’ll get an identical video but day and night look great spliced together.
