Right, you are not transferring the care when you sell it. Transfer is to move the plan to a different drone for the remainder of the plan. Selling to someone who then sends it in is only looking at the serial number information.
DJI care goes with the drone. If you buy 1 or 2 year and sell it after 6 months the next owner gets the coverage. When it says it is not transferable it means if you had your previous drone for 6 months you could not transfer it to your new drone for the remaining time. It goes with the aircraft It was purchased on.
That is right. The DJI Care stays with the drone unless in my case, I have a flyaway on my Mavic 3 because of a drone malfunctioned, DJI sends me a new drone and applies the rest of the warranty left to the new drone.
In other words, If you sell your aircraft, the DJI Car will stick to the drone and not to your account.
