i crashed the mavic 4 times. the last one a mayor with gimbal damage and ugly marks around the craft. with dji care refresh i get a new one for 99€, repair would have been 270. so i take the new. top service in germany, very fast response time. you also get detailled pictures of the damage...

isn't the fixed wing mode a kind of cruise control? I define a certain speed, then tap C1 in fixed wing mode. et voilá!

with my Samsung S7 (marshmallow and nougat) i had so many app crashes and losses of link to the drone that i'm planning to use an ipad 4 mini.

i had to downgrade my S7 to marshmallow because of serious problems using the dji go4 app. the phone overheated a lot and i regularly lost control to the drone. the app froze in many times. luckily rth saved my mavic three times. i am done with nougat!

I tried to start my bird on a soccer field near a lightpole. The app said great inteference and i would have to calibrate. Calibration failed and i had to go 20 meters away from that metal pole to get the calibration right. Mhhhh....

Danke für die Infos. Nur über Kameras wird nichts gesagt und das scheint mir der Knackpunkt wegen freien Flugs und Erlaubnis holen zu sein.

Bisher hab ich öfters gelesen: - Bis 70 Meter Höhe - Nicht um Flughäfen und Ähnliches wie in DE Aber: Da Kamera an Bord, meldepflichtig bei der Behörde. Und damit wärs das dann wohl mit der Urlaubsfliegerei.
