NEVER START a distance test with the wind. You were doomed from the start.

Just a warning that you can't completely discharge the cells. Electrolysis occurs due to the sodium and destroys the metal contacts before the battery completely empties it's voltage. Using a 12 volt light bulb will completely discharge it to absolute safe levels for disposal.

Does the charge percentage of the controller represent the level (capacity-mah) at which the battery is discharged? I know flying electric helis to only fly down to no less than 30% on a lipo then they start to get hurt. I would prefer a readout that tells me capacity used during the flight. I...
