99% sure Goggles are not compatible with firmware .400. That's why I never got them. Cool, but not cool enough for me to give up admin rights on my own quad

Regardless of what platform iOS or Android, neither says they are downloading firmwares. I'm done trying to convince people it doesn't even affect me lol. Literally just used up a whole battery flying with up-to date Litchi and no issues...

Lol. Litchi is an app that is for MANY types of drones, not just the Mavic. Why would Litchi who is unrelated to DJI push out DJI's updates? You really think Litchi Devs would go to the effort to determine the specific model of your drone, then push that specific update for your specific model...
Install DJI Go 4 (version 4.0.6) from APK Mirror or another host(find using Google)
Use NoRoot Firewall from Play Store to block DJI Go 4 internet connection
Then you can do whatever initial setup you need and just go back to Litchi.
This is exactly what I did and currently use on my device...
I've never had it prompt me for firmware download and I've been using Litchi exclusively for about a month. I'm using old firmware so if it wanted to upgrade my firmware I'm sure it would have prompted me. What makes you think the update includes a firmware for Mavic?
Dang. I've flown with a buddy who had a Phantom 3 while my Mavic was in the air and we didn't have issues. Granted it was for less than 5 minutes so it wasn't too long.
Just saw this video online and it got me wondering... Being able to drop elevation quickly would be nice, but it seems kind of risky. If the AC flips over and is upside down does it even have a way of re-orienting itself? I'm guessing no, but what do I know. Seems sketchy, but it worked for this...
