Flying with the spark this week, I've noticed a couple of items and was wondering if others were experiencing the same thing.
1: Palm launch - spark takes off and drifts about 2-3ft to the left (my left for me anyways). I then have to step aside and use my palm to reposition it as needed.
2...
Got it! Thanks everyone! And this whole time last night I was looking for some hidden or invisible switch... Now I just need to pray they somehow find a way to make the wireless reliable. Reliable in the sense that we should be able to do the cinematic flight moves as shown in the demo videos...
Two other iPads showed same thing.. that is, no SSID from Spark...
iPhone used plus I did hard reset of phone when Airplane mode didn't work.. then I reset network connections to see and it still didn't pick up an SSID.
I just got my Spark too. Problem is, the SSID isn't appearing among my wifi networks so I simply can't connect! Any ideas? Or do I have to give it up back to dji without even a flight.
I think you guys are right. Mavic for the real capture of scenery and most likely the spark for just "hanging out"/ every day situations. Anyone here wind up getting the spark to be your "fun" / casual quick shot drone?
Interesting. Thanks for the heads up. I mean, I feel like there would be less problems over water due to the sheer openness and direct signal plus LOSight! I've always thought of bodies of water like wide open fields this whole time.
No idea about anything mavic pro 2 but I remember getting mine in the first round of shipments which was just less than a year ago! If you're love drones, just go for the 4pro now! Esp if that's the feature you want. If you want small, Spark. Then you'll have a pro drone and a play drone. But...
Good tips! Thx! As long as I don't have to deal with it from Friday to Tues next week, I'm golden! So I'll check tomorrow and thurs.
Who knows... maybe tomorrow is the day with the new announcement.
