MPP flyer going to teach a new drone owner on P4

Hey guys. I've been flying my MPP for about a year. No incidents yet knock on wood. My neighbor received a P4 for Xmas and hasn't even taken it out of the box yet. I told him I would help him get it set up and teach him how to fly it. Not sure if it's the P4 with the greatest camera...

Question on precision take off option

So what are people experiencing when the M2P lands itself? Within a few inches or totally off?

What restrictions to expect of my M2P vs. my MP .400

I would also like to know if the later version of DJIGo require a SIM card to be installed in device or WIFI to be on. I fly my MPP with the Wunderphone with no sim and leave WIFI off. Using DJIGO 4.1.15. Haven't had any issues.

Flying United Airlines with a drone as carry-on, any issues?

I will be bringing my MPP home from our vacation place. United flight from Billings to Denver to Kansas City. Four batteries, drone and controller in a case. One battery will be on drone and the other three in molded foam slots. I'll make sure batteries are around 50% charged. Any recent...

How much does a 1" sensor help with low light animal scouting?

Not with the MPP but shot this guy a few years ago with a Nikon point and shoot while ATVing through the Clarks Fork Canyon.

MacicPro controller as 2nd on mavic2pro

This might make the difference on whether I sell my MPP or keep it. My wife could hook her full size Ipad to MPP controller and be in charge of the photo/video while I pilot and scope for wildlife. Actually she would have a better view of the scoping with the big Ipad.

Who has flown their maiden flight

Sure for landscape photos but what about wildlife scouting?

How much does a 1" sensor help with low light animal scouting?

That's what I figured. I'm guessing it would also let me fly on full moon nights and get some pretty cool shots of the mountains.

How much does a 1" sensor help with low light animal scouting?

Great. I'm in no hurry to shell out 1k to upgrade. Thanks.

How much does a 1" sensor help with low light animal scouting?

As some of you may know there is a new drone in town. I'd like to hear from you guys who have flown both the Phantom with the 1" sensor and the MP or MPP with the 1/2" sensor. My MPP has been great but my favorite flying is Wildlife scouting for bears and other critters. These critters...

The different between mavic pro & mavic 2 pro & mavic 2 zoom

Can't think of a reason for Pro version to be without digital zoom. It's more expensive so they should not care about overlapping features from the Zoom version. I would like digital zoom for scouting wildlife. I need the low light performance of the 1" sensor because best wildlife scouting...

I'm buying the Pro because I can use it to zoom too

I currently have a MPP and my favorite flying is scouting for wildlife at our place in Montana. We are in remote area at the base of the mountains. Of course the best time to scope for bears and other critters is early morning or a couple hours before dusk. You have to be able to find the...

    MAVIC PRO 2

I can't find any info. Will Mavic Pro batteries fit? I have four batteries with not a ton of cycle counts on any of them. Hate to start from scratch.

Scary after critical battery, got questions!

The above is only mentioned on the MPP FAQ. Absent on the MP FAQ. Sorry for the multiple posts. The editing feature is not working for me.

Scary after critical battery, got questions!

This is from DJI's website: 8. How often should the Mavic Pro Platinum's Intelligent Flight Battery be charged and discharged? The Mavic Pro Platinum's battery has a more advanced chip than earlier DJI intelligent batteries, so it does not need to be fully charged or discharged manually.
