I am not 100% certain of this solution but if you are always within a good line of site, simply run the drone without a cell phone attached . It should bypass the restrictions you are encountering

This calibration video appears to have solved the issue. My last two flights after the IMU calibration have been spot on takeoff and landing heights . I would not expect to focus there as I am novice. Thank you for your reply and help

I have had 2 flights in a row that have been uneventful except for the fact that the landing altitude is about 40ft lower than takeoff . I am landing and taking off in the exact same place . Anyone know why this would happen. I calibrated the compass...unit behaves as normal.
