Thanks again for all your help Porky. It would be fantastic to have a totally clean output, so annoying the CS doesn’t allow this. The question is now, is the smart controller worth the £500+ price tag? Guessing that if I want a totally clean HDMI output I’ll have to bite the bullet?
Almost the perfect piece of kit for my set-up but unfortunately not quite. Thanks again though Porky for the info! Any idea if the new Smart Controller has the ability of a truly clean HDMI output?
Right then, who wants to buy some never used DJI Goggles Racing Edition!? If you could let me know if it is possible to remove the grid and battery info from the HDMI display that would be the icing on the cake! Many, many thanks!
Thanks for all the info, really appreciate it. When you say a blank screen on the HDMI output is that the video feed from the drone without any on screen information superimposed or blank as it in black?
What I'd like to do is view just the camera on an external TV via the HDMI output without all the telemetry seen on the Go4 app. If I could see the telemetry on the CS screen whilst simultaneously camera only (no telemetry) on the HDMI output that would be perfect.
Thanks Porky, your set-up looks great! So just to confirm it's not possible to get a clean feed to an external monitor via an HDMI lead from the CrystalSky?
Thinking of selling my DJI Goggles Racing Edition and buying the CrystalSky 5.5". Been looking everywhere for the answer to this question - is the HDMI output of the CrystalSky clear off any flight data or any other on screen display? Also, is the CrystalSky 100% compatible with the Magic 2 Pro...
Had the same issue a few weeks ago and had many great responses to my thread. At the end turned out to be a simple matter of fake SD cards being supplied by Amazon. Bought some new cards direct from a known good supplier and no more issues.
POSTED ABOVE IN CASE ANYONE MISSES IT........
Good Morning arichmondphoto. I was up early today for some tests at a local beach. I've uploaded 3 files, all shot at 4K 30fps H265 MOV Normal. They are:
DJI0055 recorded onto same SD card as before - juddering present
DJI0060 recorded onto same SD...
Not copied to desktop but to a local documents folder on the internal 1TB SSD HD. I’m beginning to wonder if I’m over thinking this and have missed something simple as there aren’t many others reporting the same issue. Or perhaps it is a faulty M2P??
