Since no one responded I’m guessing no one has tried.... well I did and it doesn’t work. The mini was a trooper and tried real hard but in the end the GoPro Max is just too heavy.
I just purchased the GoPro Max and want to try attaching it to my Mavic Mini, I 3D printed a harness, and I expect to be in payload mode. Has anyone had any experience with this combination and can offer advise?
thanks!
On my first real test with my mavic mini using the litchi software I ended up with a major fly away and crash. Broke the left front arm and destroyed the gimbal cables for the camera. I bought replacement parts and reassembled everything however once together an error pops up says downward...
I am looking for some advice. I tried to sign up for the beta of Litchi for the Mavic Mini. They are no longer taking beta testers but stated that if I purchased the software they would add me to the beta. My question is, should I purchase or should I wait? Thoughts?
TYIA!
I was going to say that this sounds like my experience with launching off the boat and the mini flys away but I realized it wasn’t the mini moving but the boat drifting. But it sounds like your experience is different.
I know it’s too late now, but for your future drones consider putting a sticker on them with “reward if found, xxx-xxx-xxxx” and add your phone number. Also download an app like UAV which will tell you if it’s good to fly or not.
You can get a small camera/transmitter combo and Velcro it to you mini, that way you can use fpv goggles. Just make sure you have a spotter when you are flying fpv or fly indoors.
