    Warning - Buying from TomTop

So, to be clear - are you able to fly the Mavic? Is it just that you have been denied the warranty?

The Android version is very limited - no KP Chart, weather, wind, or golden time timer, only the filter selection....

    DJI GO APP version 4.10

Just spent the morning doing 3 batteries of dronies, helix and rockets! I like the way it sets off video recording automatically when you trigger the quickshots.

    Chinese phones

I bought a Redmi Note 4 (3GB/32GB) for use exclusively with my Mavic - it works really well. Also the build quality is so good that I have decided not to throw any more money at Apple, and will stick with my iPhone 6!

    What airline?

Am I allowed to carry the drone with me on an international flight?

Travelled out of Manchester (UK) to Houston last week, asked a security person if carrying on a drone and batteries was ok (I left the Mavic at home this trip) she said that was fine, treated just like other electronics. Not many places to fly in Houston but maybe I'll bring it along next time.

Charging the remote ........ remotely ?

The Fly More kit includes a gizmo that turns a flight battery into a power bank usb charger.

    FlyBe (UK airline) drone regs.

Sorry to bump my own thread again, but through security with no problems on the return journey. I think the airline is only concerned with the larger phantom type drones taking up space - they don't care what's in your carry on bag as long as security is happy.

    FlyBe (UK airline) drone regs.

Well I travelled to France on FlyBe, and security couldn't care less about my Mavic and spare batteries, in my hand luggage. They pulled me up for a 5ml tube of toothpaste that hadn't been bagged separately! (Hope the return flight is the same!).

Yes, you need DJI-Fix: Repairing Corrupt DJI Video Files

    SD Card Recovery

Sorry PM7700, I assumed you were on a PC. It might be worth finding a friend with a PC to do this job - the software I suggest worked like a charm for me.

    SD Card Recovery

HI Piriform Software (the people who do CCleaner) also make "Recuva" - free file recovery. I've had the same situation with files on my Mavic SD card, and Recuva found them and restored them. Unfortunately the .mp4 header info was lost, so I had to use a programme "DJI-Fix" recommended on here...

Now THIS is a real multi charger!

Really? if you want pictures, you shouldn't be messing with mains voltage equipment!
