The only other thing I could think of other than faulty hardware is Wifi interference. Have you tried manual mode and selecting a quiet channel? Or flying some where out of town to test?

No, my video is good. Even at 1 -2 kilometer away it's good. I haven't flown any further that that. What distance is that MA to the RC in the video posted above? How many bars of signal strength do you have?

Wired and WiFi options are available on the Air. But definitely choose wired. Wireless doesn't use the RC at all and it very limited. I believe it's only 100m.

Also I believe once your in the air the AC wont change channels, so must auto select the frequency on power up. It would be extremely risky for the AC to be auto selecting channels while flying as that involves disconnecting and reconnecting.

There is no best channel as it all depends on what channels are being used in the area you are flying. Auto is usually sufficient for me but if 2.4 I's heavily congested and not automatically selecting 5.8 then yes switch to manual. One thing to be careful of when using manual is the channel you...
