I was thinking about the 3d noise reduction (fine detail smoothing), that's happening to video footage when not filming using +1 sharpness. I've read that on Phantom 4 pro this feature can be disabled, but not in the Mavic. That would be some real improvement to the video mode (and also jpg photos).

What about video noise reduction, has anyone tested, if something's changed in that area?

Yes, I've found a fix. This blur is because of internal noise reduction. You can turn the noise reduction off by setting the sharpness to +1. Take a look in this thread - Mavic underexposure artefacts

Hey! I've had the Mavic for about a week, and I'm still testing out everything, including the camera. So I just came back from a flight with the Mavic, and found this awful footage - I exposed for the sky and wanted to see, what would happen with the shadows. I didn't expect anything great...
