Works great I bought an sd adapter to take all the images off the drone and import into my library. I edit photos with Snapseed and then delete off the junk. There are a few alternatives to iMovie however you will not get 2k or 4K out of them. iMovie will let you export in those higher formats...
I’m on an iPhone 8 Plus. I use an sd adapter to import full res footage to my phone. From there I sort it out on google photos or throw together something to share with friends. Exporting a 30sec 4K clip through iMovie takes about a minute for me. But your mileage may vary with an older device.
Not to say one is worse then the other, I just see it as the price tags were given to products relating to a certain crowd. Not everyone NEEDS to spend the extra money to be happy.
